WATERLOO, Iowa (August 2023)– Cedar Valley Medical Specialists (CVMS) has been providing world-class care throughout the Cedar Valley and surrounding area for over 25 years. With over 32 medical specialties, over 91 providers and over 400 dedicated team members, they have grown as a medical group, while keeping their standards high and their medical breakthroughs progressive. Since being established in the Cedar Valley community in 1995, CVMS has provided world-class care to multiple organizations, universities, college athletes, professional sports clubs and so much more!
CVMS continues to expand in the Cedar Valley by creating partnerships with local high school and college athletic programs. In 2022, CVMS and the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) entered into a partnership that made CVMS the “Official Sports Medicine Partner of UNI Athletics” with board-certified orthopedic physician Dr. Jeffrey Clark as the medical director and head team physician. Since 2022, the CVMS team led by Dr. Clark has made positive waves in the University of Northern Iowa Athletics, getting players back on the court or field in a timely manner while keeping athlete’s health and wellness in top shape.
More recently, CVMS and Wartburg College Athletics entered a similar partnership making CVMS Wartburg’s “Official Sports Medicine Provider.” Dr. Clark will assume the role of medical director within this partnership as well.
CVMS is also the “Official Sports Medicine Provider” for Upper Iowa University Athletics and the Waterloo Bucks, all while continuing to provide care for countless high school athletes throughout the Cedar Valley.
